We are a housing association with charitable status and have been operating in Northern Ireland since 1976. We are a leading provider of, and a campaigner for, universal, inclusive, accessible housing.
Our first housing scheme was completed in 1982, at Valentine Court in Bangor, County Down, (pictured left). Since then, we have grown to become one of the major providers of social housing in the region and now have almost 1700 dwellings on more than forty housing schemes right across Northern Ireland.
We are an Investor in People organisation, committed to continuous improvement through the training and development of our staff and we have received 3 government Charter Marks in recognition of excellence in customer service. Our head office is in Holywood, County Down, and we have a regional office in Londonderry.
We have sister organisations in England - Habinteg, Scotland - Horizon, and in the Republic of Ireland - Habinteg (Ireland) Ltd.

The Association has a fully involved, voluntary Board of Management supported by four committees focusing on Audit, Finance, Development and Housing Management
