We are incredibly proud to announce that Habinteg has been awarded GOLD for Investors in People (IIP)
Organisations which meet the IIP standard, are believed to reflect excellence in people management and the few that attain Gold status represent just 17% of all those assessed. We are delighted, therefore, to have been judged worthy of this top accolade, recognising our strong, ongoing commitment to investing in our staff.
Delivering the outcome of Habinteg’s accreditation, IIP Assessor, Christine McGowan, said “This is an excellent outcome and is testament to the leadership of the senior team over the past three years. It has led Habinteg through one of the most challenging periods for any organisation. In doing so, it has created a positive working environment where people are committed to providing high quality services for their tenants and are proud to being part of Habinteg going forward”
Ruth Mulholland (centre left), Senior HR Business Partner, and Ann McErlean (centre right), Quality and Performance Manager, collected the Gold Award at the prestigious IIP Celebration Event on the 16 June 2022, held at the Crowne Plaza, Belfast.
Collecting the award, Ruth said “‘Like many organisations the impact of the pandemic over the last two of years have particularly challenged us and our people. Our teams rose to that challenge and delivered the services we provide by being adaptable and innovative. Through engaging with our people, and with the support of our SMT, we have been able to improve our people policies, procedures and practices to better equip and support our workforce for the future.”
