Asset Management Strategy

This Asset Management Strategy has been developed to contribute to the Association’s Strategic Plan 2017-20. The strategy is to be read in conjunction with the Association’s Corporate Strategy, Operational Plan, Key Performance Indicators and Policies & Procedures.

Recognising and Supporting Residents Associations Policy

This policy sets out the Association’s approach to recognising and supporting Resident Associations and/or groups.

Tenancy Fraud Policy

The overall aim of this policy is to ensure the fair allocation of social housing to those in the greatest housing need and to define and put in place measures to prevent, detect and combat tenancy fraud.

Persistent, Vexatious and Unreasonable Behaviour Policy

To identify situations where someone falls into these categories and establish a procedure whereby they can be treated fairly, consistently and reasonably and to protect Habinteg residents, staff and agents from nuisance, abuse and threatened or actual harm, which may be caused by such behaviour.

Resident Involvement Expenses Policy

The purpose of this policy is to make sure that rresidents’ have a clear and transparent procedure for eligible expenses that can be claimed by them, there is a consistent approach across the Association, residents are not out of pocket for getting involved and barriers to resident involvement are reduced.

The purpose of this Complaints Policy is to ensure that the Association adopts a clear, effective, confidential, and responsive system for managing, monitoring and responding to complaints made about the services the Association provides and acts upon these complaints appropriately to inform and improve its services.

This policy ensures the successful management of ASB including outlining our approach to responding to ASB through careful analysis, intervention and proportionate action and where required with the support of other partners and as a last result enforcement action.
