 Disability Action Plan

Disability Action Plan - Consultation and Publication

Under section 49B of the DDA 1995 Act, public authorities are required to submit disability action plans to the Equality Commission showing how they propose to fulfil the disability duties in relation to their functions, which are to:

·        promote positive attitudes towards disabled people

·        encourage participation by disabled people in public life

Habinteg concluded a 12 week consultation period for the Disability Action Plan in March 2022 and it has now been approved:
